Wood Duck Nesting Box

The Wood Duck Nesting Box is designed for both the conservationist and the hunter. This beautiful box is designed to provide a safe and durable home for your wood ducks for many years without worry of rot or decay. The Wood Duck Nesting Box is made from durable UV stabilized marine grade plastic that will withstand the elements for many years to come. The back provides a V slot that makes is suitable for mounting to a metal post or pole, as well as a tree. This box features a weather proof deck lid in the top for cleaning access. There are two capped vents to allow for airflow inside the nest, and textured steps below the hole to allow young ducklings to easily climb to opening of the nest. The Wood Texture exterior allows the nest to blend seamlessly into the environment.

Notes:
The box needs to have 4 to 8 inches of cedar wood chips in the bottom. boxes need to be placed 6 foot off the ground on land or three foot above the record high water line if placed in water. place boxes 50 feet apart.
